Position Summary

The IT Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting, evaluating, designing and configuring finance computer systems and software to meet the needs of the business. The role is expected to work closely with Finance users to solve business problems in the areas of finance, operations, human capital, customer, governance, reporting, risk, and compliance, using SAP and other technologies. This is a hybrid role, working at least three times weekly from the office, from our West Palm Beach, FL office at the West Palm Beach Airpark. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range will be as follows: $81,700- $112,200 per year.

Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or recent and relevant work experience in Information Technology field

  • Experience in Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Technical Solution Design, Negotiation, Change-Management and Continuous (Service) Improvement.

  • 5+ years’ experience in the planning, design and deployment of S4 financial solutions.

  • A minimum of 2 years End to End SAP S4 Project Implementation experience is required. SAP S4 implementation with the knowledge on New GL is a must.

  • 5+ years’ experience in SAP FI and CO modules - General Ledger (GL)/New GL, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), CO Profitable Analyst (COPA) and Fixed Asset Accounting.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with SAP FI and SAP CO S/4Hana configurations

  • 5+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, managing requirements, Finding Solutions, Communications with other Peers and implementing them. Experience or knowledge in the integration with the other SAP modules and other financial applications (e.g. Basware/Concur)

  • Experience working in virtual teams and international environment is required. Very good knowledge of financial business and controlling processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review the Global Financial processes and provide recommendations/solutions to harmonize them using SAP S4. Continue to work with regional group finance and IT team to streamline finance processes globally. Drive business process consulting by translating customer business processes into IT solutions, including quality assurance.

  • Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions, applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards

  • Ensures configuration of system integration points between SAP FICO and other integrated modules.

  • Provide user support for other Finance solutions such as Basware (AP), Concur (Travel/Expense mgmt.) & other finance consolidation/planning tools.

  • Provide guidance in the definition of solution design practices and standards that link back to SAP best practices.

  • Provide support for establishing and providing technology strategy and technology roadmaps for enterprise capabilities in finance.

  • Participates in the development of cost/benefit analysis.

  • Partners with Product/Process Owners in evaluating and aligning the technical design and strategy with the product roadmap involving finance applications.

  • Ability to lead and facilitate design workshops (Blueprint), assessments, planning sessions i.e. demonstrate leadership experience in project management.

  • Work with a team of Finance specialists and assist in configuring the solution (must have hands-on configuration experience in SAP S4 and ECC).

  • Make recommendations on implementation of the SAP applications, as well as integration with third party systems.

  • Ability to learn and support non-SAP applications that are critical to the finance business process.

  • Ability to perform quality control on the finance portion of an implementation project.

  • Conduct work effort estimation and develop work plans.

  • Work with Global stakeholders such as the business and IT clients.

  • Demonstrate cross functional leadership i.e. ability to look at the end to end process and understand how it fits together.

  • Adhere to project plans, tasks, and deliverable; identify dependencies and resource requirements.

  • Provide support in the assessment of newer technologies, implementation and build a working relationship.

  • Appropriately communicates project status, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.

  • Develops proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.

  • Develops and maintains working relationships with a diverse group of business, functional and technical teams.

  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

  • Strong team building skills, with ability to build quick and effective work rapport with distributed team members.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for direct interaction with end users, internal IT team members and consultants.

  • SAP S4 FICO Certification preferred but not mandatory.

  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including MS Project and Visio.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Experienced in trouble shooting system & data issues.

  • A basic knowledge on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) methodology is a plus.

  • Self-sufficient team player with the ability to cooperate with user community and lead projects from beginning to success.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed to support our business.
