Description

Robert Half is looking for an HR Generalist to support one of our growing client in San Mateo. This role is a 3 - 6 month contract currently fully on site, Please find the description below and if interested, apply ASAP. Our clients are looking to interview immediately.

Job Description:

As an HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's human resources functions. You will work closely with the HR team and various departments to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.

  • Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and facilitate their onboarding process.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns and inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

  • Assist in resolving conflicts and disputes among employees.

  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

  • Process payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the finance department.

  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Identify training needs and collaborate with department managers to develop training plans.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and industry trends.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance appraisal process by providing guidance to managers and employees.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.

  • Knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration.

  • Familiarity with HRIS and other HR software.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
