Robert Half Contracts Administrator in Sacramento, California

Description A premier legal department in the Construction/Contractor industry is seeking an ambitious and talented Contract Administrator who wants to expand their legal career. This Contract Administrator position is suitable for self-starters who possess a true passion for the legal industry. Located in Sacramento, California, this Contract Administrator job is permanent.

Your responsibilities

  • Put together contractual provisions and administering contract proposals

  • Carry out company contract execution policy and procedures

  • Manage and maintain contracts database

  • Examine contracts to ensure completeness

  • Add contract details into company database

  • Manage the entire life cycle of company contracts (from first request to final signature and contract distribution)

  • Administer contract execution processes

  • Discuss terms of agreements in detail

  • Take care of both internal and external requests for status of contracts

  • Expedite and follow the approval and execution process

  • Pull reports from the contracts database on an as-needed basis Requirements - Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Eagerness to learn new concepts

  • 5+ years of experience in the specific field or related area

  • Heightened organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

  • Proven knowledge of diverse computer applications

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • General familiarity with contracting

  • Foundational knowledge in Contract Pricing

  • Contract negotiation experience

  • Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Proven knowledge of Contract Terms

  • Knowledge of Contract provisions

  • Quality experience with Contract Modifications

  • Strong familiarity with Contract Renewals

  • Well-founded grasp of Contract Types

  • Solid understanding of Contract Management

  • Practical knowledge of contracts
