Eaton Corporation HW Lead validation engineer (e-Mobility) in Roztoky, Czech Republic

Eaton European Innovation Center has an opening for a Hardware Lead validation engineer (e-Mobility) with a focus on on the AC/DC electric vehicle charging stations.

Eaton European Innovation Center (EEIC) has been opened in 2012 and since then it has been rapidly growing.

With almost 200 employees we are a vibrant engineering and Innovation Center for electrical, vehicle, hydraulic, and aerospace applications for the region in Europe, Middle-East, & Africa

What you’ll do:

As a Hardware Lead Validation Engineer you will actively participate in HW validation phases of the entire project development lifecycle (requirements review & analysis, test plan definition, test suite creation and its execution, regular contacts with project stakeholders, status reporting, problem solving followed by verification).

  • Assure/verify the required quality on component/board and system level

  • Define the HW test plan together with the project team

  • Perform entire set of tests to cover component, board, system level as well as LTT/HALT/RDT tests and EMC tests

  • Continuously enhance the entire test suite

  • Take responsibility for identification of required test equipment, set-up and continuous maintenance in accordance with project timelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree

  • Proven experience within HW test/design domain (Low Voltage or High Voltage)

  • Experience in EMC testing

Nice to have:

  • Experience with e-Mobility, Electric vehicle or Power electronics domain

  • Experience in cooperation with external labs and certification authorities

  • Experience with test/project management tools (Jira - xRay/Zephyr, TestStand, JAMA, Doors, Confluence etc.)

  • Experience with cross-environmental-domains (SW/FW/HW, embedded electronics, IT, automation...)
