Robert Half HR Generalist in Painesville, Ohio

Description

We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team located in PAINESVILLE, Ohio. The selected candidate will be responsible for various HR duties including hiring, onboarding, terminations, benefits management, and other general responsibilities. This role is an onsite position that offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the hiring process including posting jobs online, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens with applicants, and carrying out interviews

• Oversee the onboarding and orientation for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company

• Handle terminations and manage benefits and 401K programs for employees

• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures

• Maintain accurate employee records and handle HR administration tasks

• Conduct performance reviews and manage employee relations

• Participate in the restructuring process when necessary

• Provide training and development opportunities for employees

• Payroll for compensation administration and other related tasks

• Utilize excellent time management skills to effectively manage various HR tasks.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of HR functions including Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, and Employee Relations

• Proficiency in using Paylocity for Payroll management

• Experience with Job Postings, Onboarding, and Compensation & Benefits

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Knowledge of HR Compliance and HR Policies

• Familiarity with Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Experience in Interviewing, Outsourcing, Performance Reviews, and Recruiting

• Proficient in Recruitment - Sourcing, Restructuring, and Terminations

• Strong Time Management skills

• Experience in Training & Development initiatives

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
