Aerotek is currently hiring for Service Technicians with Generator experience. Local travel is required and candidates must have experience within maintenance and working with generators.

$50k - $80k DOE

Description:

Essential Job Responsibilities:

•The Field Technician performs various preventative maintenance services on power generation systems at customer job sites.

•Troubleshoot faulty equipment and make repairs as necessary.

•Performs testing and maintenance on Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), Paralleling Switchgear and Utility/Distribution Switchgears from 20KW to 2000KW.

•Ability to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs to generators and associated equipment.

•Performs retrofits and generator upgrades.

•Interprets specifications to determine appropriate job costs.

•Prepares detailed service reports, parts orders and other related paperwork.

•Performs load bank testing of generators.

•Working with electronic tools and multimeter.

•Reading and understanding electrical schematics in troubleshooting faulty equipment.

•Working with Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)

•Installing and commissioning generators.

•Switchgears up to 20KW to 2000KW

•Generator retrofits

•Reading electrical wiring diagrams

•High proficiency with multi-meters and other electrical testing equipment.

•Experiance implementing, diagnosing, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance service on all types of equipment.

•Must have a thorough understanding of power generation products including generators, UPS, ATS and switchgears.

•Must be well organized and can prioritize your workload.

•Possesses good communication skills in order to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

•Must be able to lift and push 50lbs or more.

•Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
