Position Summary

CVS Health Digital is looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Digital Engineer to work on engineering teams tasked with creating a best-in-class Customer Data Platform. In this role, you will be working on the implementation of the Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP), collaborating with a cross-functional team of product managers, architects, and business partners to enable the foundational component of our personalization and orchestration engine. The platform, focused on helping people live healthier lives, will enable our marketing partners to serve the right content to the right customers in the right channel. You will use your engineering skills to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions on the Adobe Experience Platform. You should have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery, and excellent software engineering skills. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated, collaborative individual, driven to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will work with the product owner and architects to define and implement features and functionality based on the product roadmap.

  • Implement the Adobe Experience Platform.

  • Provide leadership for Digital initiatives/digital transformation for eCommerce, leveraging Microservices, open-source frameworks, and Cloud technologies.

  • Collaborate with various areas of the organization, including business partners, product owners, architects, security experts, digital, and IT engineering teams.

  • Provide support in all phases of the SDLC and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.

  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Provide technical leadership and direction, determining and developing approaches to solutions by coordinating multiple resources to solve complex problems.

  • Encourage a collaborative, open, and dynamic team culture where individuals and teams can realize their full potential.

    Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience building data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading marketing and customer data

  • 4+ years development experience on enterprise class applications

  • 4+ years of experience with programming languages/frameworks: Java, J2EE, python

  • 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS, GCP and other cloud-based services

  • Experience working with data warehouse/cloud solutions like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar

  • Expertise in database testing using SQL and UNIX, including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication Experience providing self-service to engineers through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation principles

  • Experience in IT Security best practices and other compliance standards such as ADA, HIPAA, PCI DSS

  • Experience in SAFe Agile work environments; certification of SAFe for leaders would be a plus

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$97,335.00 - $201,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
