Reference #: 5001042287800 Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Processing Utility II to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on Weekend Day Shift. As a Processing Utility II, this candidate will be responsible for supporting production, quality and housekeeping tasks in Plant 2 Mix Room areas. This position works Friday-Sunday 5:25 AM - 5:25 PM. Key Responsibilities Supports production, quality, and housekeeping tasks in plant 2 mix room areas. Assists with extruded or twisted lines by monitoring the machinery for dough flow. Performs and documents weight checks. Prevents and removes poor quality product from proof belt. Monitors raw material stock for production on assigned line. Performs housekeeping tasks involved with production. Substitutes for other processing operators as needed. Assists as a Mixer, Twister Operator, Mixer/Extruder, Proofer and Lineperson as needed. Works in a safe manner at all times and communicates any safety issues to supervisor. Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements The ability to work as a constructive participant in a team environment. Basic mathematic skills. Conscientious measuring of raw ingredients. Ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly at 48" height. (Sourdough tubs). Ability to stage 55 gallon drums of liquid ingredients using drum dollies (400 #'s). Must have capacity to perform 5 skills. Proofer, Mixer Operator, Twister Operator, Mixer/Extruder Operator and Packaging Associate as needed. Requires standing 100% of time. Spreading Joy Through Food!
