The Human Resources Generalist will support all human resources functions within the employee life cycle for the Fireye brand. Responsibilities include delivering HR services to frontline and department operations leaders on employee relations, performance management, succession planning, reasonable accommodations/return-to-work, and other talent and culture initiatives. Provides interpretation of complex and interdependent HR policy and procedure situations. Provides HR input on operational decisions to frontline and operational leaders. Engages leaders to identify options and resources to meet operational needs and to build support for identified solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly.

  • Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner.

  • Prepare employment packages.

  • Implement training and development plans.

  • Execute quarterly and annual performance review sessions, with guidance from manager.

  • Process quarterly and annual sales incentive plan compensation, using available resources to ensure accuracy.

  • Provide new hire and ongoing training and development.

  • Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.

  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records.

  • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization.

  • Monitor headcount budgets by department.

  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor and employment legislation.

  • Recommend process and policy enhancements to the improve service to customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Management, Industrial relations or Labor Relations, Sociology or Psychology, Information Systems (with HRIS focus), Accounting or Finance, Communication, Marketing, Economics.

  • 3+ years of proven experience in Human Resources.

Preferred Qualifications (assets):

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR); Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

  • Manufacturing experience.

  • Expertise in driving business process improvement initiative.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills – diplomatic communication style.

  • Good problem-solving abilities.

  • Team management skills.

  • Result driven mindset with the ability to work cross functionally.
