Roles & Responsibilities:
- • Support and/or lead design enabling activities for Reactor Island Safety Systems up to Reference Design, including technical checking and review of design outputs.• Led design activities for a system or safety measure within Reactor Island Safety Systems.• Perform cross-cutting tasks to continuously improve system design processes/procedures.• The engineer should communicate effectively with design stakeholders and follow governance processes, such as gated design and decision reviews.• The engineer is responsible for creating design documentation such as system or safety measure descriptions, P&IDs, functional bills of materials, requirement and interface definitions, decision records, and design calculations.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- • Experience with process engineering principles. • Experience calculating pressure drop, fluid flow, and component sizing.• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or chemistry.• Demonstrates effective presentation and reporting skills
