We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join our team and help us implement, maintain, and support a major enterprise commerce platform hosted on Microsoft Azure. You will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, security, scalability, and reliability. You will also work closely with other architects, developers, and engineers to deliver innovative and cost-effective cloud solutions. Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud solutions that meet the business and technical requirements of our clients. Provide guidance and best practices on cloud architecture, security, performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with other architects, developers, and engineers to ensure alignment and integration of cloud solutions. Conduct cloud assessments, migrations, and optimizations for existing and new clients. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the cloud domain and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation. Qualifications/Critical Skills: 7+ years of Cloud Architect and/or relevant industry experience. Bachelor's degree (in computer science, engineering, or a related field) or equivalent experience. Solid cloud architecture and implementation experience with Microsoft Azure. Advanced knowledge in Azure networking, security, identity and access management, DNS, etc. Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or CDK. Familiarity with Azure CLI, Azure APIs, and a scripting language. Experiencearchitecting solutionsin multi-cloudand/orhybridenvironments. Experience with Microservices, Functions, Event-driven/reactive programming or other Cloud Native architectures. Experience withlanding zone architectures, cloud networking, infrastructure as code tooling & best practices, IAM,delivery pipelines, secrets management, FinOps, and observability. Experience with Azure Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization. Experience withDevOpsand Agilestandards and practices. Knowledge of data center hardware and principles and the cloud-native equivalents, (for example: DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies, Routing, firewalling, security appliances/services) Experience working with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep). Experience supporting cloud-based production workloads with an understanding of security, governance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
