  Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE, Open Learning, to utilize research skills and existing outreach tools to identify qualified learning and development contacts within Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Will be immersed in comprehensive program offerings through ongoing training and self-education; build rapport with prospects, assess their needs, and determine the ideal fit for MIT xPRO (https://xpro.mit.edu/) solutions; tailor communication to effectively convey the value proposition of MIT xPRO programs to specific client challenges; partner with account executives to schedule sales calls and nurture qualified leads; maintain detailed records in a CRM, capturing prospect interactions and fitting assessments to inform future strategies; and stay ahead of the curve by actively seeking new prospecting techniques and market trends. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g., business, education, communication, etc.); at least two years of experience in sales, marketing, or related field; knowledge of core sales principles; and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment fueled by collaboration and innovation. Salary range: $60,000 - 65,000, final salary determined by MIT’s compensation team based on the skills and experience of the person hired.
