Job Description

A company in the Boulder, CO area is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team in support of classified programs for Missile Tracking and Prediction. This position requires an Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI and CI Poly. Work is performed onsite, with limited remote work but will offer a flexible work schedule. This position will support a small team as the Technical Lead,  - leading design decisions, but will not require personnel management. The Network Engineer will be responsible for design, requirements, deployments, setup, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance and overall technical escalations. The Network Engineer will provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation and tools, conduct testing of network design and provide technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.. This person will be Supporting lab operations during ground test execution with rapid response and debugging configurations as part of DevSecOps for custom modeling and simulation software.

Skills and Requirements

* Active Top Secret Security clearance with ability to obtain SCI and CI Polygraph

* Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience within Network Engineering or Master's Degree and 5+ years

* Current Security + certification or equivalent

* Technical expertise in Layer 3 switches and routing, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

* Knowledge of TCP/IP behavior, network communications and routing protocols, network traffic analysis and troubleshooting experience.

* Strong understanding of Cisco (Nexus & Catalyst preferred)

* Experience with STIGS and firewalls (Fortinet preferred)

• Interest and ability to lead a technical team and design decisions; strong communication * Familiarity with sustainment of OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) mission networks

* Experience with configuration and integration of cyber security tools like EMass and HBSS.

* Experience deploying systems into an operational network with CM measures. null
