Amazon Contract Administration Manager, MGM Contract Services Team in Beverly Hills, California
Description
The Contract Services Team (“CST”) in the Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) group is looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated person for the role of Contract Administration Manager with extensive knowledge of Global TV, Film Distribution and Rights and Window Management. This position will be responsible for managing deals globally from clearance through execution, taking ownership of all facets of the deal administration process. They will work cross-functionally across a broad range of stakeholders to deliver results and remove blockers to deals, working cross-functionally across many business stakeholders such as Sales, Planning, Finance, Delivery, Legal and Litigation.
Successful candidates will bring a broad range of talents to the position, from keen analytical abilities to critical thinking, working to remove blockers, establish communication, and streamline and optimize business processes. This candidate will have an extensive background in window management, rights and contract administration and sales and distribution at a studio or similar company, and proficient in rights management systems.
Key job responsibilities
Manage contract administration of global distribution deal management
Process availabilities; rights management content clearance
Propriety rights management (IPM) data input and proofing
Progress deals from pre-clearance through contract execution
Analyze and accelerate deal blockers as needed
Work independently, elevating challenges to senior leadership as needed
Manage and own deals/territories
Facilitate all aspects of deal management
A day in the life
This fast-paced department interacts with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis, from Sales to Legal to Delivery. The ideal candidate will be able to pivot quickly to solve time-sensitive deal issues and work globally.
About the team
The Contract Services Team (“CST”) in the Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) group is responsible for global deal management of 1P and 3P content licensing to SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, EST, Pay, and Free/Basic channels and platforms in over 200 markets.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years work experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager, Sales Administration or relevant role in Film or Television Distribution
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of all aspects of window management and the flow of product through the media
Experience analyzing and applying critical contractual interpretation against deal information
Preferred Qualifications
SAP/IPM, MicroStrategy, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office including advanced Word and Excel skills
Ability to quickly master proprietary databases and applications
Motivated and proactive problem solver; team player with a positive attitude
Clear and concise communications; superior written skills
Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills and extremely detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
Facilitate discussions, offer recommendations and understand business priorities
Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Able to work independently and within a team environment, while building relationships with internal and external customers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $158,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
